VIP suites
We are pleased to announce that 5 additional new VIP luxury suites are available for your dog and the refurbishments are now complete. Bookings for May Bank Holiday weeks and summer bookings are already strong so please do not delay if you want a luxury suite for your dog. Remember, the price is inclusive of food, heat and a daily 30 minute exercise in our dog park.

Dog Walking
We are planning to commence a new dog walking round in June 2015 for the postcode SG1 (Stevenage). If you would like your dog to be exercised Mondays to Fridays daily or part time, we can help you. We collect your dog in our van in the morning, exercise your dog in our dog park for a full 60 minutes and return it home in the afternoon. Sign up before 31st May 2015, to receive a 30% discount until 31st August which means you only pay £7.70 per day. This offer applies only to pickups in SG1 and is limited to the first four clients.

We also currently cover SG4, (Hitchin), SG5, (Hitchin/Stotfold), SG6, SG7, SG8

Dog Park Group Walks
Group walks in the dog park continue to be very popular. Group walks take place daily between 11.00 and 12.00 and walkers are accompanied by a member of staff. Please contact us beforehand if planning on joining a walk for the first time.

Safety in the Dog Park for Group Walks
In the interests of safety, please ensure that every child under 8 years is accompanied by a separate responsible adult while in the dog park. This person cannot also be the person who is responsible for the dogs. The park is not suitable for children under the age of 3 years. (These conditions do not apply when the park is hired on an exclusive basis but parents are still responsible for their children’s safety.)

Refreshments
We now have vending machines just inside the building opposite the entrance to the dog park. Hot drinks are now available and a machine for snacks and chilled drinks will soon be operational.

Puppy Classes
The Improvers class will continue with Rhi at 09.00 every Saturday.
The next Beginners puppy class will commence Saturday 6th June at 10.30.

Opening Hours
We are now open every day 09.00 – 12.00 and 14.00 – 16.00. (Excluding Bank Holidays)

We would like to bring you up to date with recent developments.

Website bookings and secure on-line payments
Many of our clients continue to make booking requests through our website and subsequently need to make contact to pay a deposit by telephone. Our website can now accept secure on-line payments making it possible to complete the process in one stage. You can use the form to request a confirmed booking and pay a deposit or a quotation which is not confirmed. Other clients have been using e mail to request bookings. In future, we would prefer not to receive booking enquiries by e mail as this will still require a deposit to subsequently be paid by telephone.

Training
Collette is continuing with our popular Puppy Training courses which will re-start as follows:

Beginners:
7.00pm Tuesday 7th January 2014

Weekend Beginners:
11.00am Saturday 25th January 2014

Intermediate :
10.00am Saturday 4th January 2014

Advanced: TBC

Collette can also work on a one-to-one basis with dogs which have challenging behaviour issues. This can either be at with you at your home, or at the kennels. It may even be preferable for the dog to board with us while she carries out intensive training. Please call us for more details.

Dog Walking
Alongside boarding, we offer a weekday dog walking service where we collect from your home. This particularly suits infirm or working people as your dog will have a proper one hour walk and will be delivered back home ready for a good sleep. Price per walk is only £10.

Grooming
Jourdan Carter has now joined our team. She holds a Level 2 Animal Care qualification and is currently attending Oaklands College to studying dog grooming. We are able to groom or bath your dog while they board with us or you can book a groom as required.

Improvements

Dog park – We continue to upgrade the facilities to make your pet’s stay more enjoyable. Since
2011, we always walked dogs on our large field on lead but recently we made it secure by fully fencing it, which allows us to walk dogs off-lead. The result is lower stress levels and less noise for everyone. You are welcome to join us for group walks (just turn up) or private hire by appointment.

Group walks take place as follows:
Monday 14.00 – 15.00
Tuesday 10.00 – 11.00
Saturday 14.00 – 15.00
Sunday 11.00 – 12.00 + 14.00- 15.00

Hydrotherapy – Our improvements to the hydrotherapy facility are now complete which include
showering facilities for dogs before and after swimming plus separate office and staff shower.

VIP Suite- we now have 5 VIP suites each with under-floor heating and Astroturf garden area.
These have proved to be very popular and are often overbooked so please book early so as not to
be disappointed.
